Forklift Operator – Warehouse and Shipping/Receiving

Key Responsibilities: - Operate forklift and other material handling equipment to load and unload trucks in a safe and efficient manner - Verify outgoing shipments against pick tickets, bills of lading, and other shipping documentation - Properly palletize, shrink-wrap, and secure loads for shipment - Inspect loads for damage and ensure shipments are properly labeled and documented - Complete required paperwork such as bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping manifests - Maintain shipping/receiving logs and records - Follow all safety protocols and procedures when operating equipment and moving materials - Keep warehouse shipping areas organized and clean Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Minimum 1 year experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse/distribution setting - Valid forklift operator certification - Ability to safely operate all warehouse equipment like pallet jacks, Forklift - Strong attention to detail with focus on safety and accuracy - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficient with basic computer applications like MS Office - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly - Forklift experience with bills of lading and other shipping documents preferred medical/dental benefits, paid holidays, and PTO.
