FAQ
There are a couple of ways to apply! Come in person and visit us at any of our five branch locations. You can also apply online here.
Some of our clients do require background checks. However, we do have felon-friendly work assignments. It does vary based on the background charge. Speak to a Talent Manager for more information.
If you're new and would like to apply or if your application is out of date then all you will need when you come in is your employment verification eligibility hiring documents. An up-to-date resume is always a plus but not required. Please also bring a face mask with you, as all of our locations will require a face mask for entry.
After a probationary period or so many hours worked a candidate will be eligible for medical insurance benefits with a discounted premium cost.
It is not required but it definitely does not hurt to bring in an updated resume. For you, it saves you some time on filling out employment history information on our application if you have a recent up-to-date resume. It also helps your Talent Manager in finding the right position for you based on your work history and what work you would be qualified for.
A temporary job is just as it sounds: You’re brought in for a limited basis, often during peak times of the year when an employer needs help in handling additional workload or a special long-term project. With a direct-hire, you’re hired for a permanent, usually full-time position, and are eligible for all the benefits that come with being an employee of that company, like insurance and PTO. Temp-to-hire is kind of a hybrid of the two, where you’re “contracted” as a temporary worker which gives you the opportunity to evaluate whether the company and position are a good fit before being hired on internally.
Obviously, one of the main benefits of working with a staffing agency like Alliance Workforce is that we make it easier for you to find employment.
But beyond the obvious, we also provide guidance on resumes, cover letters, interviews, etc., and provide a number of resources you can use to better prepare you to find the right job for your particular background and skills. It is like having a personal matchmaker but for employment.
Please contact your talent manager right away if you notice any discrepancy.
We work all together! Between our five office locations we have a variety of diverse positions. There is a good chance your current Talent Manager will be able to help you with a position closer to your new home. If you'd like to switch your information to a new branch for your convenience, then please contact your new preferred location with your updated information.
